Every ring starts with a block of wax.  First the finger size is drilled and the wax is squared off.  The stone is centered perfectly and brought down to within a millimeter of the finger hole.

The wax is carved to reveal the design of the ring.

Diamond layout is  drawn on the wax setting,

and on the shank.

The wax has been cast in platinum, cleaned and detailed.  The diamond layout is drilled and is ready for setting.

The ring is set and polished.
