My customer wanted four-tier turquoise and diamond earrings.  The project started with sourcing the correct stones.  These are Arizona Sleeping Beauty oval cabochons.

The wax is removed underneath the stone to cradle the bottom of the stone.

The wax is carved to create the desired design.

After casting the model in silver, it’s cleaned and detailed.

I create a layout for the stones.

I make the decorative grill for the back of the piece.

This is the finished grill in gold.
